On the 21st of February 2010, Sunday took on a different meaning for the Principals and teachers of Bright Day School.
Mr. Barry O’ Brien, the eminent motivational speaker and writer visited the school and held a motivational talk for the teachers and Principals of the school. Mr. O’ Brien had the entire audience enraptured as he subtly pointed out the necessary aspects in a teacher’s personality. His style of rendering the talk was appealing and at the same time his fantastic timing and sense of humour had everyone in splits. Every single person who attended, felt that a few hours more would also be welcome!
Mr. O’ Brien also conducted a GK contest for the teachers and Principals, in which around 150 participants sat for the preliminary round, out of which only 18 entered the final found. The enthusiasm was infectious as everyone, the finalists as well as the audience participated.
The programme was organised by the well-known publishers Oxford University Press. It was also attended by the members of the School Management. The prizes were given away by the Director of the school Mr. Jayendra Shah and the All-India Marketing Manager of Oxford University Press, Mr. Narendra Ranade.

- Second Position : Mr. Manish Engineer, Ms. Bina, Ms. Jaya Jyothi
- 12 more teachers won the Preliminary Round and were selected for Final Round.
