Pruthvi Pandya of class VII participated in Skating, Judo and Kushti in “Rural Swarnim Khel Maha Kumbh - 2010” under 16 years' age group and received first position in all the three games. She is the only girl who took part in three games under 16 years' age group. She bagged one Silver and Bronze Medal along with 2 Tracksuits in the state level Roller Skating Competition organized by Sports Authority of Gujarat.

Tanmay Bagree of class VIII was awarded with the 3rd prize of Rs. 10,000 in the Max New York Life Igenius Scholarship Programme for the year 2010.

On 30th December’10 Sr. KG. Children dressed in different costumes representing various religion, personalities and leaders as a part of the project My Country and Our Culture. A power point presentation was prepared by teachers which was shown to them.

On 5th January’2011 as part of a topic Wood and Products, students of Jr. KG. brought different wooden articles from home and they talked about it and all the objects were displayed.

On 10th January’2011 students of Play Group celebrated ‘Toy Day’ wherein students brought their favourite toys from home and displayed and shared about it.

| FIELD TRIPS |
On 30th and 31st December’2010 students of Class – I visited Bil Ashram.

On 3rd January’2011 Children of Play Group visited the departmental store D’Mart. They gathered information on food products and products for cleanliness.

On 4th and 5th January’2011 Students of Jr. KG. visited a farm near Bhaili Village. The were thrilled to see cauliflower, brinjal, drumsticks and lemon. They enjoyed a tractor ride also. |

On 6th and 7th January’2011 students of Sr. KG. enjoyed a field trip to a farm house. They could see number of plants and various types of trees.

On 17th and 18th January’2011 students of class I & II enjoyed a picnic to farm house ‘Sharnam’.

| CELEBRATION |

On 24th Dec’10 students of KG section celebrated Christmas. The unique feature of the day was all the students and teachers were dressed in Red to represent Santa Clause. Children enjoyed matching their steps to the lively music and participated in many activities. Children were thrilled to see the xmas gifts which was distributed by Santa.

Students of KG Section celebrated Uttrayan by flying kites with their friends on 12th January’2011.

On 22nd January’2011 Photos and Green Day celebration materials were displayed for parents as a part of visiting day.

“Blood Donation Camp” as a part of their “6th Annual Sports Meet”. 83 bottles of blood were collected from parents and teachers. Mr. Kiran More was the chief Guest.

‘Republic Day’ was celebrated on 25th January’2011 by KG Section with great fervour. A special programme was organized for students & parents. Children sang patriotic songs and performed dances. The dress code was orange, white & green for all.

Ms. Vidya Sudhish attended a workshop at Ahmedabad organized by Ratna Sagar on the topic Managerial and Motivational Skills on 29th January’2011. The resource person Mr. Surya Narayan Bahadur.
