Chirag Malani of class X and Shikha Singh of class XI-Sci. were selected at the regional level CBSE Science Exhibition held in Surat recently. Their project “Arsmathmatica” (Mathematical modeling of river Narmada) was selected for National round to be held at Delhi. We wish them All The Best. |

On 27th July’2011 Jr. KG. children presented the topic ‘Clothes’ in an innovative way in form of a fashion show. Around 160 children walked on the ramp wearing different types of clothes seasonal clothes, casual wear, party wear, formal and informal clothes, professional clothes, clothes related to different festivals and type of uniforms. Children enjoyed this program a lot. |

On 28th July’2011 for the topic ‘Animals and Birds’, Sr. KG. children dramatized on rhymes and stories. Project talk was arranged where detailed information about their characteristics, food, homes, cries and young ones was given. |

Rakshabandhan was celebrated on 12th of August. Along with the children, teachers also celebrated this festival. The female staff members tied sacred threads around the wrists of the male staff members and the non-teaching staff. |

Janmashtami was celebrated on 18th of August. A special power point presentation was prepared on the story of Krishna Leela. Jr. KG. and Sr. KG. children performed dances on various songs of Krishna along with the power point presentation. |

Students of class II celebrated Independence Day with devotion and enthusiastic spirit on 12th Ang’11. The students presented various patriotic songs and shared about the freedom fighters of our country. |

Bright Day School has participated in International School Award. As a part of this project students of class III E performed an awareness program. The topic was “The Beginning – The Glimpse of Hope”. It was related to saving of endangered species like tigers, crocodile, panda etc. They staged a mime on 17th Aug’2011 at Center Square Mall, Vadodara. |

Students of class – II participated in the project ‘Indian and Chinese food’ as a part of international school award. Students compared food items and food habits of the people of India and China. Pictures and materials of food items, ingredients, utensils, Indian and Chinese recipes and an informative write-up were displayed. Chef from China Mr. Li Peng reviewed the display and gave his expert comments on the same. |

On 27th of August, children of Jr. KG. and Sr. KG. showcased their talents in the ‘Rhymes and Songs Carnival’. They were dressed according to special dress codes and presented various songs and rhymes on the stage, holding beautiful props in their hands. Parents and special invitees enjoyed the whole program. |

Bright Day School CBSE Unit celebrated Teachers Day on 5th September’2011. A colourful programme was organized by the senior students. There was a dazzling array of musical items and dance. Student teachers took up the classes and taught the students. All the teachers were felicitated with cards. |

On 5th September’11 on account of Ganesh Visarjan, the lord was seen off in style with the clasping of lezims and beating of drums to the loud cries of ‘Ganpati Bapa Moriya’ followed by colourful procession. All the students and teachers came in orange colour dress. |

On 9th, 10th and 11th of August, children of KG. section enjoyed the Tonga Ride in a pleasant atmosphere. |

On 11th of August, ‘Family Day’ was celebrated by the Jr. KG. children. All the children were dressed as different members of a family. |

On 18th of August, on the topic vehicles all the Sr. KG. children enthusiastically participated in the Quiz. Children enjoyed answering the questions viewing the power point presentation. |
