Ms. Neeta Sharma stood 1st & bagged the Gold Medal in Professional Diploma in Educational Management from MSU in the academic session 2009-2010.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
These students secured position in Chess Tournament organized by Gujarat State Chess Association.

1. Ansh M. Shah of Std III D won 1st position. He also won    Shri Ajitkumar Sarkar Chess Tournament got the 1st prize with Running Shield and scholarship of Rs. 1000/-.
2. Neel A. Thomas of Std III D secured the 4th position
These students secured 5th position in the 21st Open Gujarat Inter School Team Chess Championship 2010 organised by Baroda Chess Academy, Vadodara.

Dhruv J. Chokshi of Std V B received a participation certificate in state level Drawing Competition “Paint Your Thoughts” organized by Gujarat Ecology Commission.
Vidhi M. Sheth of Std III C won a Gold Medal in (Rink Race 375mt), (Quads Rink Race I, Rink Race II) in Open Baroda Speed Skating Competition 2010 organised by Baroda Skates Association and Karelibaug Skating Club respectively.
Rishi R. Patel of Std IV C won a Silver Medal (Rink Race 450 m.) in Open Baroda Speed Skating Competition 2010 organised by Baroda Skates Association .
Nihal I. Shaikh of Std V A won 2 gold (Rink IV, Rink V) Silver (Road II) in Warrior All India Invitational Speed Skating Tournament organized by Gujarat State Roller Skating Association.
Pratyush J. Waghe of Std V B secured the winner position in the Basketball Tournament organized by Bal Bhavan Society.
Varunpal H. Singh of Std VII B won a Gold Medal in Badminton Tournament organized by Bal Bhavan Society.
Kshitij B. Sharma of Std IX A received the Runner Up Trophy in Late Shri Surajram Bachkaniwala Memorial Open Gujarat Major Ranking Badminton Tournament - 2010 organised by Surat District Badminton Association.
Following students secured Medal / Trophy in 6th Gujarat Abacus and Mental Arithmetic State Level Championship 2010 organised by UCMAS.

Students of Std. III enjoyed the process of “Tie & Die” on 08.07.10 Mrs. Usha Desai – Craft Teacher demonstrated using handkerchief , odhani etc. Students also tried their hand on it.
ORIENTATION :
An Orientation session for the parents of Std IX was arranged on 26.06.10 to acquaint them about the Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation Policy by Mrs. Harsha Shah, Mrs. Neeta Sharma, Mr. Bhavik Parekh and Mr. Dhiraj Singh.

An Orientation session for the parents of Std I was arranged on 19.06.10 to acquaint them about the School Policy, Evaluation Pattern and the Use of almanac by Mrs. Harsha Shah, Mrs. Neeta Sharma and Mrs. Sangita D’Cruz.

STUDENT’S COUNCIL ELECTION:
Bright Day School, CBSE Unit, Harni conducted elections for Student’s Council on 3rd July’10. The members of the student council were elected by the students through the electronic voting system. The main purpose of election of Student’s Council was to help the students to understand the entire process of election and to choose the best leaders.
INVESTITURE CEREMONY:
Bright Day School, CBSE Unit, Harni celebrated Investiture Ceremony on 10th July’10. Mrs. Priyadarshini Kelkar Principal, New Era School was the Chief Guest for the function.

The young student council members solemnly took an oath to perform their duties with sincerity and do their school proud. The Principal, Mrs. Neeta Sharma proceeded the Oath Taking ceremony. Director of our school Shri Jayendrabhai Shah, Jt. Director Shri Simit Shah and Administrator Smt. Harshaben Shah honoured them with badges and sashes.

Colours always attract young minds. Red is one such colour which fascinates kids. Children of Jr.KG had an interactive session with their teacher using real objects of red colour. They came to school dressed in red clothes. They ended their session by using red colour paint for blow printing activity.
