Students won the 1st Prize in Inter School Street Play Competition (Nukkad Natika) held at Delhi Public School, Kalali on 2nd Oct’10.
The Nukkad Natika was scripted and directed by Mr. Rajiv Dashputre, Music Teacher.

| Our entry Design for Change Contest 2010-Lighting up the life was selected among top 80 entries at National level and we received cash prize for the same. The participants were Hitakshi H Agarwal V-A, Antra P Gandhi V-A, Jhanvi B. Soni VI-B, Aastha A Patel VII-B, M.K Sridhar VIII-B. Ms. Usha Desai, Art Teacher was their mentor. |

Vraj A Shah of Std. IV-D secured the 1st prize in the 15th All India Children’s Painting Competition Organised by Vijay Information Fine Art Academy, Hyderabad. |
Kartik H Gurjar of Std. VII-A won Supreme Gold Award in the 40th International Children’s Art Exhibition organized by Biiku Bunka Kyokai Foundation for Art Education, Japan. He has also received the 2nd prize in the XI International Painting Competition “Joy of Europe”, Belgrade. He has been selected for Cultural Talent Search Scholarship of Rs.7200/- for 10 years by Centre for Cultural Resources and Training, Government of India. |

| ANNUAL DAY PROGRAMME : |
| The school celebrated Annual Programme (Std. IV to XI) – The Real Face Of Life on 11.12.2010. Around 320 students participated in it. The show threw light on Child labour, Corruption, Old people fighting with loneliness etc, thus sentisizing the society at large. The show ended with students marching with lamps in hand, paying tribute to the soldiers who have sacrificed their lives for our motherland. The audience was totally mesmerised with the performances. Dr. Darshan Banker Eminent Cardiologist, - MD Bankers’ Heart Institute & Dr. Shaileshbhai Trivedi, Eminent Physician were the Guests of Honour. The International, National & State level winners, Ideal students & Toppers were honoured by the Guests. Director Shri Jayendra Shah felicitated the teachers for their achievements. |

| FIELD TRIPS : |
Std. I – III visited the ‘Roses Nursery’. The students saw various plants and flowers. Children were also educated about the manure used for plants. They were thrilled to see the winter flowers.
Students of Std. IV visited the ‘Balloon factory’ & witnessed the process of making balloons. They also got a packet of colourful balloons as gift.

| GREEN DAY : |
|
Colours play an important role in a child’s life. The colour which soothes and calms us down is the green colour. As a part of this children celebrated “Green Day” by bringing green objects and dressing in green.

| DIWALI CELEBRATION : |
| Diwali “A festival of lights’ was celebrated with great fervour and zeal by the children of Bright Play Centre. A short play was enacted by teachers. Children made colourful rangolis and decorated their classrooms. Children made innovative greeting Cards by using rangoli colours & paper plates. |

| FIELD TRIPS : |
| First hand experience helps a child to learn and explore the facts of life better. As a part of it PlayGroup & Jr.KG. children visited zoo while Sr.KG. children visited “Green House” & “Aquarium”. |
