Achievements:
Devanshi Pathak of Std. III B secured 1st position in Speed Skating Competition organized by Alphanso Academy. She also secured 1st position in Warrior Invitational Open Roller Skating Championship organized by National Skating School Ahmedabad.
Dhruv Parikh of Std. IV B secured 2nd position in Environment Day Open Baroda Speed Skating Competition organized by Karelibaug Skate Club.
Neel Thomas of Std. IV-D secured 1st position in Chess Tournament organized by The Baroda Bengal Welfare Association. He also secured 2nd position in Chess Tournament organized by Baroda Chess Institute. He also participated in the XXV National Under-11 Boys Chess Championship organized by Ahmedabad City Chess Association and Fischer Chess Club.
Mahima Khatri of Std. III-C secured 2nd position in Drawing Competition organized by Little Angels Centre.
Ansh Shah of Std. IV-D secured 3rd position in Chess Tournament organized by Baroda Chess Institute. He also secured 3rd position in Gujarat State Selection Chess Tournament organized by Gujarat State Chess Association. He also participated XXV National Under-9 Boys Chess Championship organized by Khordha District Chess Association Orissa.
Vraj Shah of Std. V-D participated in the study of advanced Mathematical Cognition and Mental Abacus Expertise Harvard University. California.
 
Pravartika of Std. III-E and Srujan Pandya of Std. VI-B have been selected for the final round of Geeta Chanting Competition to be held on 25.09.11.
 

Tej Barve of class VII B participated in Open Baroda Badminton Tournament in the event of B/U – B/D and secured Runner up position. This competition was held in 21st – 27th Feb 2011 organized by Bal Bhavan society.

Lovepreet S Sandhu of class VIII B has participated in the All India. Karate Championship 2011, organized by Shitoryu Karate Association of Gujarat and India at Rosary High School, Vadodara on 28, 29 and 30 Jan 2011 and got 2nd place in Kata and 3rd place in Kumiti.

Antra P Gandhi of VI A has participated in International Children Art Competition organized by Mizyal Art Center and won the gold medal.

Smit N Shah, Yash B Shah, Rutvij J Saini of std X and Hitesh Luchhwani of Std XII have participated in Inter School Chess Tournament ( under 17 boys) held at Tejas Vidhalaya and secured 2nd position.

Smit N Shah of IX-C, Ansh Shah IV-D and Yash B Shah IX-C participated in Interschool Chess Competition held Gujarat Public School. Smit N Shah secured 1st postion, Yash B Shah secured 3rd position and Ansh Shah ( under 14) secured 3rd position.

The student of Std. VI went to the Science Community Centre. The students earned about different principles of Physics through various working models. They also learnt about different Anatomical and Morphological features of different living organism.

The student of Std. VII went to Shri Aurobindo Ashram. They visited museum from which they gained knowledge about his involvement in India’s freedom struggle, his writings and his spiritual voyage at Puducherry.

National Sports Day - was celebrated whole-heartedly on 29th Aug.’2011. It is the Birthday of Major Gyan Chander – the hockey player. Students from Std. VI to XI enthusiastically participated in different events like Kho-Kho, Carrom, Badminton, Chess etc. The energetic events filled the atmosphere of Bright – a healthy Bright.

 
K.G. Sections – CBSE Unit, Harni

Ahead of Rakshabandhan Celebration our tiny tots of Sr.KG. prepared simple yet beautiful rakhis from colourful wool. The children enjoyed making rakhi by themselves.

The festival of pure love between a brother and a sister called rakshabandhan was celebrated by the children on 12.09.11. The girl’s tied rakhi on the boy’s wrist and wished for their well being. Later sweets were distributed amongst the children.

Saffron is the symbol of sainthood and sacrifice. This essence was felt by the students when they celebrated Saffron Day by wearing saffron coloured dress.

Children enjoyed the collage activity, which was related to the national symbols. It helped them learn the national symbols through first hand experiences.

Mother Teresa is remembered as the ‘face’ of kindness and benevolence for the poor and destitute. She was remembered by our ‘Little Angles’ of JR KG. & Sr KG. on her birthday. They spoke a few words for her, in her remembrance.

The tiny tots of Play Centre were all ready with blue coloured dress, and slipper and props like umbrella & raincoats so that they could enjoy the rainfall.

They were excited to play in the rain and enjoy the weather which generates life.

The most auspicious month of Ramzan came to an end with the celebration of Eid. Children were given cards, date palms & bananas.

Jain children also celebrated Jain Samvatsari.

With the onset of Ganesh Mahotsav, children went for Ganesh darshan to Laxmi Villas Palace.

The children of Jr.KG. came dressed up as various fruits and spoke a few sentences on. They enjoyed their exposure on stage.
