| Felicitation ceremony for S.S.C & H.S.C Board Exam Toppers |

The Bright Education Trust Felicitated the S.S.C and H.S.C Board toppers on 25th June 2010 in Bright Day School Auditorium. Shri Bhupendrabhai Lakahawala (M.L.A.) and Shri Pravinbhai Pandya (Education Inspector) were the guest of honor who felicitated the students.

Nidhi V Shah of Bright Day School Gujarati Medium Secured 10th position in S.S.C Exam Gujarat State Board and 5th position in Vadodara center. She received a Gold Medal, a cheque of Rs. 11,000/- and books.
Vivek A Modi of Bright English Medium School secured 8th position in H.S.C Board Exam in Vadodara Center. He received a Gold meddal and a cheque of Rs. 5000/- and Books.
Deepak R Shah of Bright English Medium School secured 7th position in Science Merit List in H.S.C Board Exam. He was awarded a Gold Medal and Books.

| Tree Plantation Programme : |
To celebrate World Environment Day “Tree plantation programme” was conducted as an activity on 19th June the students from std VIII & IX brought potted plants of different varieties ranging from flowering plants, decorative plants, bonsai plants, botanical plants, medicinal plants and herbal plants etc. The plants are kept in the lobbies and the students take care of the plants. The potted plants add an aesthetic ambience to the school premises and it inculcates the value of “Each One Grow One” to make our Environment Eco-friendly.

| Function |
Students Union Election for the year 2010-2011 was held on 2.7.10 and 3.7.10 for the students of Std. V to VII Eng. & Guj. Med. in the school premises, in which 635 number of students casted their votes to 20 candidates. Children not only enjoyed campaigning during recess hours but also enthusiastically participated and elected their representative through electronic system. |
This was followed by Investiture Ceremony held on 10th July ’10. The elected members were felicitated by the Honourable Chief Guest Shri Rajendra Harpale Trustee of Jummadada Vyayammandir and were adorned with their badges. |

Bright School prepares the students for a better and fuller life ahead by keeping their various skills, active therefore organized Handwriting Competition for Std. I & II English and Gujarati Medium.
Keeping alive Mahatma Gandhiji’s saying “Bad handwriting is the sign of imperfect education” students of Std. III & IV Eng. & Guj. Med. were encouraged by arranging Calligraphy Competition for them.
The above said competitions were arranged on 6th July ‘ 10 in their respective classrooms.

| To inculcate Good Manners and Discipline is the basic need for every citizen, therefore “Talk on Good manners & Discipline” was held by respective class teachers on 29th July ‘ 10 for the students of Std. I & II. Points discussed were regarding respect, truthfulness, honesty, cleanliness, being cheerful, smiling, friendly and helpful. |
