“My Earth My Duty”
NCC 3 Battalion had organized a programme titled
“My Earth My Duty” on 19th Aug 2010 in the M.S University Pavelion. 2nd year N.C.C Air School Students from Std IX participated in Debate, Skit and Lecture Competition, based on “How to save our Earth”. The students bagged First Prize in Skit and Consolation prize in Debate and Lecture competition.
Amul Vidya Awards 2010
The following students names are registered for the Amul Vidya Shree Awards and Vidyabhushan Award 2010 for their academic excellence and for beign school toppers in S.S.C Board Examination 2009 – 10.

Swarnim Gujarat : Vanche Abhiyaan
Literary Programme was organized by Sahitya Pravah and Bright Day School Secondary Section on 4th Aug 2010. The Students prepared themselves on “Manshi Premchand” and “Kavi Umashanker Joshi”
There was a questionnaire session on the life and literary works on these famous literary identities. The chairperson of Sahitya pravah Dr. Mrs Nalini Purohit and Prinicpal Mrs. Tarulata Pradhan motivated the students giving correct answers by presenting them on the spot prize. The students received pens and small books as gift for their effort in showing keen interest in reading. The students had also made albums on Munshi Premchand and Kavi Umashanker. The coverage of this programme was shown on VNM news channel.
Under Vanche Gujarat Abhiyaan as a part of School Activity 3 students from each Standard gave a book review in their respective classes. They have also maintained a diary in which they note down the record of the books that they have read this year.
Chinmaya mission
Chinmaya mission Vadodara had organized a preliminary round of Geeta
Chanting Competition 2010 on 21st Aug 2010. 45 students from English medium and 142 students from Gujarati Medium. Participated in it. The Students had to recite Shlokas form 10th Chapter of Shrimad Bhagvad Gita.
Teachers Day Celebration
On 6th Sep’10 The Teachers Day was celebrated in the school with treat enthusiasm. The students presented songs, speeches and mimicry in their classrooms and felicitated their teachers with hand made cards and flowers.The management had organized a special programme for the teachers on 6th Sept 2010 in the evening at Vasana Unit. The teachers had a Gala time on DJ and they were served a special dinner and presented a beautiful card from the management.
