Open National Karate Championship 2023
Jeel Gandhi from VIII-D won gold medal in Open National Karate Championship 2023. Bright family congratulates Jeel for her achievement !
Khel Mahakumbh
- Kavya S Maurya of Std VI-A stood 1st in Vadodara in Archery.
- Devam Chokshi of Std IV-A won in 30 metre Running Race and is selected for District Level.
- Mihika Shah of Std V-A won the 50 metre Running Race and is selected for the District Level.

IWF Vadodara District Karate Championship
Meet.K. Saidane 5th -A received gold medal in Kumite and silver medal in Kata and cash prize (1100) at IWF Vadodara district karate championship ,18th Feb 2024 at Waghodiya sports complex. The award was another feather in his cap. Bright family congratulates Meet for his achievement!.
Science Olympiad Foundation
Students of Shri J.R. Shah Bright School, Primary Section won Gold medals, Silver medals and Bronze medals in different Olympiads. Bright Management appreciate the efforts of the students and wish them best luck for the further levels in Olympiad. Congratulations to winners!
T.V. Advertisement
Shri J.R. Shah Bright School organized T.V. Advertisement competition for Std I and II on 16th February2024, Friday. The idea behind conducting this competition was to provide a platform to the participants to explore their creativity and stage presence skills. It requires a lot of creativity and some quirk. It was a perfect blend of creativity, laughter and precision when the participants took to the stage to present their creativity. The expressions and delivery captured the attention of each one present. Amazing, eye catching and beautiful props were used to enact their advertisement. The participants left no stone unturned to advertise their products in the most innovative and effective manner creating a sensation and giving a tough time to the judges.

News
The more you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you will go. News is an important and integral part of people’s lives. No matter what one does for a living, chances are that everyone is engaged with news reading at some time as a daily routine. News reading competition was organized at Shri J.R. Shah Bright School for Std III and IV on 17th February2024, Saturday to encourage children to improve their reading skills and enhance general awareness. In this competition, young minds of read the news clip with clear pronunciation, fluency and confidence. enhance general awareness. The winners of the competition showcased exceptional talent and delivery skills, impressing both the judges and the audience. Congratulations to the winners!.
Elocution
Elocution competition was conducted at Shri J.R. Shah Bright School for Std V and VI on 19th February 2024, Monday. The participants captivated the audience by expressing their views on the topic with great confidence and vocabulary. The young orators had won the hearts of the judges, who were overwhelmed by their oratory skills and preparation. This was followed by the announcing of the winners, amidst thunderous applauding.
Debate
Debate competition was organised at Shri J.R. Shah Bright School for Std VII and VIII on 20th February 2024, Tuesday. The aim of the school was to foster intellectual growth, encourage public speaking, and promote healthy competition among students.
The participants of Std VII expressed their views for the motion and against the motion on the topic “Is technology making people less productive?”. Participants of Std VIII expressed their views on the favour or against on the topic “Media: Blessing or curse”. The students showcased their eloquence, critical thinking, and argumentative skills. The debate competition thus fostered an environment of healthy competition and intellectual growth, aligning with our school's commitment to holistic education.

Vadodara Marathon
Students of Shri J.R. Shah Bright School participated in Vadodara Marathon “RUN THE GREEN MILE” on 7th January 2024, Sunday at Navlakhi ground. Mr. Vijay Sir, Ms. Nivedita ma’am along with students participated in 5km Fun with Run.
Sanatan Dharm Vijayyag Ram Rally
Students of Shri J.R. Bright School participated in Sanatan Dharm Vijayyag Ram Rally on 17th January 2024, Wednesday. Students were dressed in characters of Ramayana showcasing Lord Shree Ram, Maa Sita, Lord Hanuman, Lord Laxman. The tableau was beautifully decorated. Incharge teachers Ms. Reshma Pandya, Ms. Reena Shah and Mr. Manoj sir were also the part of the rally and were cheering “Jai Shree Ram” along with the students.
Annual Sports Day 2024
Annual Sports Day 2024 was held at Shri J R Shah Bright School, Primary Section, VIP Unit on 23-01-2024 for Std I to IV and on 24-01-2024 for Std V to VIII.
The morning was filled with great zeal, excitement, enthusiasm, sportsman spirit and frolicsome atmosphere. The Sports meet started with a school song, followed by Lighting the torch and oath by students. Our Chairman Dr. Simit Shah, Principal Mam Rita Kantharia with all the other Unit Heads finally declared the sports meet open by waving the flag off and releasing the balloons. Managing Trustee Mam Shairavi Bhayani motivated the students by giving the clap for all the sports events.
The different games organised tested the students' physical strength, swiftness, concentration, ability, balancing, hand and eye coordination and also their flexibility. The games included Relay Race, Separating the pulses, threading the needle, slow cycling, making plaits, etc.
Students enjoyed their participation and winners were awarded with gold, silver and bronze medal respectively by Sir Simit Shah and Ma’am Shairavi.
Annual Day Celebration - RANGTARANG
Grand Annual Day Celebration RANGTARANG was held at Sayajirao Gruh, Akota on 3-2-24, Saturday. The celebration was graced with the famous Gujarati movie actress Nijal Modi. The theme of the celebration Rang Tarang was based on the different Rainbow colours which symbolises its own uniqueness just as the diversity of our country. It was indeed a splendid programme which was appreciated by everyone.
The programme had graceful dance performances, skits and bhavai. The dances and skits together were based on the current era where mobile has its own pros and cons. Women empowerment depicting women power, Rajasthani dance. Tribute to the founder of the school Sir Jayendrabhai Shah and the performance related to Lord Shree Ram whose idol incarnation recently took place was an integral part of our Annual day Celebration.
National Science Day
National Science Day was celebrated in Shri J R Shah Bright School, Primary Section, VIP Unit on 28th February, Wednesday. This day is celebrated every year to mark the discovery of the Raman Effect by the Indian Physicist Dr. C. V. Raman.
The celebration started by Lighting the Lamp by the Chairman Dr. Simit Shah, Directress Ms. Swara Shah in the presence of all the Unit Heads of VIP Unit. The theme of this year’s celebration was “Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat”. As we all know the United Nations, at the behest of the Government of India, declared 2023 the International Year Millets. Based on these two concepts, students displayed their creativity showcasing projects and creating awareness to use the millets for healthy lifestyle.
The Exhibition included Rangoli using millets, prasad of millets, Display of Working Models, Robotics, PPT, Brief introduction of the Scientists and Dance performances showing the importance of ISRO and Millets. Students interacted with different mascots and enjoyed with them. Robotics using Arduino programming- Obstacle sensing Robotic controlled car, Automated defence system, Fire detection system, Robotic arm Spider Quadrep Robo and Humanoid AI Robo was the centre of attraction.
Students of Std V to VIII actively participated in the preparation of various working models. The show enhancing the knowledge of Scientists and dance was enjoyed by the Students from Std III to VIII.
