NAVFEST-2023 (04.11.2023)
“Sparkles of Shri J R Shah Bright School, Primary Section, VIP Unit”. NAVFEST-2023, Fests of Talents was organised by Navyug English Medium School on 4th November,2023. The Competition was held for various categories wherein Mahek Kalwani of Std 8th bagged the first prize and Panth Patel of Std 7th bagged the third prize in monoacting.Dakshina Shah of Std 5th bagged the first prize in Ad creation. Hearty Congratulations from Bright family to the winners!
SPECTRUM ATHLETIC EVENT 2023-2024 (09.11.2023)
SPECTRUM ATHLETIC EVENT 2023-2024 was organised by Bright School CBSE Vasna. Girls of Std I and II participated in the various sports events namely Hurdle Race, Zig-Zag Race, Sack Race and Three-Legged Race.

Inter School Peace Poster - 20.12.2023
Harsiddhi Padharia of Std 8B was adjudged the winner of the Inter School Peace Poster Contest organised by Lions Club of India Sakhi. The contest was held on 29th October,2023 at the Baroda High School,Alkapuri. Topic for the contest was “Dare to Dream”. Her creativity paved her the way towards winning the trophy. Bright family congratulates her for her splendid achievements!
Inter School Math Fair
“Sparkling stars of Bright”
Inter School Math Fair was organised by Akshar Public School on 19th December,2023. Brightians bagged first prize, second prize and third prize in different categories.
- Category A- 2nd prize was bagged by Riyanshi Chauhan(II-C),Ridham Patel (II-C) and Vibhu Kawathia (II-C)
- Category B- 3rd prize was bagged by Dhruvisha Thakar (IV-A) and Rehansh Hembani (IV-C).
- Category C- 1st prize was bagged by MrutuzaAli Rangwala(VIII-D), Dhruval Pisandiya (VIII-D) and Prayun Patel (VIII-E).
Rangotsav competition
It’s a pride moment to share that our Brightians have bagged gold medals, silver medals and bronze medals in Rangotsav competition that was held on 11th September,2023 and Avantika Competition which was held in 16th September,2023. Bright family congratulates the proud winners for their achievement!
Story Telling Competition
“Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world today”
In our quest to promote academic excellence and encourage students, Shri J.R. Shah Bright School had organized a story telling competition for grade 1 and 2 on 6th November,2023.Storytelling competition for grade 3 and 4 was organised on 7th November,2023.The students participated with their tremendous effort to make this event a successful one. The stories that they narrated were moral based and these young story tellers used a variety of props to make their stories interesting and expressive. Each story concluded with a moral highlighting different value of life. The young storytellers won everyone’s heart. The stories were adjudged on the basis of content, fluency and expression.
General Knowledge Competition
General Knowledge Quiz Competition was organised by Shri J.R. Shah Bright School at the Shri J.R. Shah Auditorium, First floor for Standard V and VI on 8thDecember,2023(Friday), for Standard VII and VIII on 9th December,2022(Saturday). As a trivia based on General Knowledge, the event contained questions related to Current affairs, Culture, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Entertainment, Literature and many more. The audience actively participated in the event as the Quiz mistress kept them involving by quizzing them along with the participants. This event proved to be very educational and informative for the students. It was an appreciated endeavour by the school, such events go a long way in moulding students’ personality and testing their knowledge. Overall, the Quiz Competition was a huge triumph. The winners of the team were felicitated by Ms. Rita Kantharia (Principal), Sejal madam (Senior Supervisor) and Sunanda madam (Junior Supervisor).
Navratri
“Navratri is the time to workship different avatars of Maa Durga, soak yourself in devotion, and enjoy spirituality”
Navratri Celebration cum Competition was held on 19th Ocotber,2023,Thursday at Shri J.R Shah Bright School, Primary Section, VIP Unit for Students of Std I to VIII. The celebration started by offering prayers to Goddess Navdurga. Students came in beautiful and Colourful traditional dress and danced on the beats of Garbas as a part of devotion and worship to Maa Amba. It was a colorful event with teachers joining the students enthusiastically in their dance. The event became an excellent example of celebration of tradition with joy and fervour at its fullest.
Diwali
"A festival of lights & symbolizes the spiritual “victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance”
Shri J.R.Shah Bright School celebrated Diwali on 9th November,2023. The school was decorated with toran, beautiful diyas,display of arts such as greeting cards, different rangolis and beautiful flower rangoli. Lighting of Diya was done by all the Dignitaries and Staff members. Std I to IV students enjoyed the Potluck(Dibba Party). Little Brightians came in colorful dress and shared their tasty food with each other. Various competition was also organised on 7thNovember,2023 wherein Std V and VI students had Best Out of Waste Competition. They showed thei creativity by making unique hangings, frames, nest, bird cage. Std VII and VIII students had participated in Greeting Card Competition and prepared beautiful cards. As a part of activity, the students of Std VII and VIII made artistic and colorful Rangolis. Diwali was celebrated with lot of joy and excitement.
Christmas
Santa at Shri J.R.Shah Bright School !!!
Christmas is for joy, for giving and sharing, for laughter, for coming together with family and friends. It was surely a Christmas to remember at Shri.J.R.Shah Bright School. The school wore a festive look with bells, streamers and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. The children of Std I and II enjoyed Christmas Celebration by dancing to the tunes of Christmas songs. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was amply visible on the faces of the children especially when Santa moved around distributing sweets to them. Principal, Ms. Rita Kantharia, greeted everyone for a wonderful celebration of Christmas with dance and gave a message of joy, giving and sharing, that marked this special festival. A pleasant and happy atmosphere prevailed in the atmosphere.
Body Check-up
“Stay fit, Stay healthy”
A body checkup was scheduled for the staff of the primary section on 9th October,2023 by the team of Fit India Mission. After the body checkup, Mr. Nimesh Patel (Senior Executive Wellness Coach) and his team then conducted a seminar where he talked up the good life style, good food habits and importance of physical as well as mental fitness for healthy body.
Parent's Teacher's Meeting
“Education is a partnership between parents, teachers, and students, lighting the path to a brighter future.”
Parent-Teacher’s meeting was scheduled at Shri J.R. Shah Bright School for Primary section from 19th December,2023 to 22nd December,2023 for Std I to VIII. The main objective of the meeting was to create a common platform, where teachers and parents come together to discuss student’s performance and devise ways to enrich their learning experience. The PTM came to an end with the conclusion that the progress and development of the students depend on the joint efforts of parents and teachers.
