School Opening Day - 05.06.2023, Monday
The Academic year 2023-2024 commenced on 5th June 2022, Monday. Students were welcomed by teaching and non-teaching staff. The day started with school prayer followed by the awareness about conservation of Environment on the “World Environment Day”.
4th Gujarat State Kickboxing Championship 2023
Jeel Chintan Gandhi of Std 8-D secured two gold medals in 4th Gujarat State Kickboxing Championship 2023 in weight category 47 kg and Girl’s age category 13-15. Bright management congratulates her for the achievement !.
Open Baroda Table Tennis Tournament
Krishna M Patel of Std 6-B from Shri J.R.Shah Bright School stood First Runner up in Open Baroda Table Tennis Tournament under 13 category at Table Tennis Association Baroda, MSU. She received a trophy and a cash prize of ₹1200. Shri. J.R. Bright School congratulates Krishna on achieving this amazing feat and wish her all the best for future endeavors.
Karate competition organised by International Wado Federation India (IWFI)
Rudra Vishal Bhatt of class IV-B won two gold medals,Meet Saidane of class V-A won a gold medal and Dhyan Rakeshkumar Pandya of class VII-A won a bronze medal in Karate competition organised by International Wado Federation India(IWFI) held on 2nd July 2023 at Delhi Public School, Harni, Vadodara.Bright Family congragulates them for their achievement in Karate competition !.
Handwriting - building block to learning

Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam
Shri J R Shah Bright School celebrated the International Yoga Day on 21st June 2023, Wednesday with great enthusiasm. On this yoga day, children were explained about the ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice emphasising the importance of yoga. Students were also informed that in 2014, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi proposed the idea of observing this day on June 21 during his address to the 69th session of the UN General Assembly.This was followed by various asanas performed by teachers and students. Zumba dance added a different essence to the celebration. Teachers and children actively participated in the celebration.
Shri Jayendrabhai Shah - “Guru and Founder: Bright Group of Schools"
Founders’ Day,an important day in the school calendar when members of the school community meet to commemorate the one who founded the school and who have bequeathed resources to its development was also celebrated on 1st July,2023,Saturday. Sir, Shri Jayendrabhai Shah laid the foundation of The Bright Group of Schools and handed over his vision and legacy to be continued further was depicted through student’s performance under the guidance of teachers in the ground floor auditorium.
The students were given the knowledge of Guru's importance and also about Sir's journey of life.
Student Union Council Election - 28.06.2023
Elections give the people a chance to express their opinion and vote for the candidate whose aims and ideas most closely match their own. With this motive Student Union Election took place in Shri J R Shah Bright School, Primary Section, VIP Unit.To make them aware of the process, the pattern of democratic elections was followed where the forms were filled by the nominees on 19th June. Canvassing took place from 22nd to 24th June 2023. Student Union Election took place on 28th June, 2023 for the post of Head Boy, Head Girl and School Captain. Sports Leader and Science Leader were selected on basis of their achievements in the respective fields.
Principal, Primary Section Mam Rita Kantharia, Principal Secondary and higher secondary section Ms. Nina Shukla and sectional Heads of VIP Unit graced the occasion with their presence.
It was indeed a moment of privilege for the Council Members. They took an Oath wherein they promised to work in a sincere, systemic manner and take the school to the greater height of success.
“Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.”
Discipline is necessary - in the school and also for the safety of the students. A talk was arranged by the school where students were made aware of the safety through rhymes, story and speeches.The value of discipline was inculcated in the school which has trained the students mind and body thus enabled them to focus on the goals.
