HSC Examination March 2023
(1) First Rank is achieved by Master Soham Bhatt with percentile rank 99.86.
(2) Second Rank is achieved by Master Shubham Pandit whose percentile rank is 98.75.
(3) Third ranker is Master Dhruv Bhagat whose percentile rank is 93.31.
Talent Search Test (Government Scholarship - 10th June)
Five students of this unit have been qualified in the Talent Search Test. It was conducted for std IX. They are:
(1) Ms Princy J Patel
(2) Master Priyansh C Chauhan
(3) Master Kavy D Brahmbhatt
(4) Master Shlok A Patel
(5) Ms Shree V Bhatt
Each of them got the certificate as well as a cheque of Rs 1000 as scholarship. They were given away the cheques and certificates at the hand of Honorable Chairman Dr Simitbhai Shah.
Microsoft Programmers Cup
Divy Upadhyay (XI – C) - an achiever of multiple certificates Master Divy Upadhyay participated in in Microsoft Programmers Cup. He had been rewarded with a series 8 smartwatch, Spotify 1 month Family Premium and Microsoft 365 Family Premium. Being passionate about technology, he received certificates from IIT Kanpur, IIT Kota, IBM, Microsoft, Google and Guvi. More than this, he also got certificate from Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, IIT Sonic, MOOC, Coding Ninjas. He has been declared the ‘Student Ambassador’ by Microsoft. He had already achieved lot of certificates by Microsoft and other institutions.
Quiz by SOCLEEN
It’s a matter of pride that three students from Std IX of our unit got ranks in the online quiz jointly organized by SOCLEEN, Central Pollution Control Board Regional Directorate at Vadodara, Vigyan Parishad Vadodara Chapter and Indian Association for Air Pollution Control.
(1) Mohmmad Umar A Pathan - 66/100 marks - 2nd rank
(2) Heli H Shah- 60/100 marks - 3rd rank
(3) Tanmay P Shah- 60/100 marks - 3rd rank
They were given away the prizes by Dr Arun Arya (Science Faculty – M.S. University of Baroda)
International Yoga Day - 21st June 2023
The students were given an essay to write presenting the importance of yoga.There was an activity of drawing pictures of the Yogic postures. A few students prepared chart on the same subject. The Aasans were performed in group. The shlokas showing the importance of yoga were recited in the assembly. The guided meditation was performed by the students during assembly. A few speeches were presented related to the occasion.
Founder's Day - 3rd July 2023
The death anniversary of he founder of Bright School was observed in our unit. In the prayer assembly, the Mahamrityunjay shlok was recited. Then a song ‘ મંગલ મંદિર ખોલો દયામય ..’ was sung as a part of the tribute. Two students wrote poems acknowledging the contribution of Honourable Sir in their life. A few students drew the pencil sketches of Shri J R Shah Sir.
The Honourable Director Sir is not physically with us but he remains in the heart of every Brightian.
Students Union Election - 30.06.2023
The election of the Students Union will be organized on 30/06/2023. As a part of this, the candidates did the canvassing in the classes. The future leaders present their views to the students and appeal to them for voting. Like the real election they were assigned the symbols and made the banners.
Investiture Cermony - 10.06.2023
In order to inculcate the democratic values among the young generations the school always conducts the students’ union election every year. The chief guest of the ceremony was Dr Mahima Trivedi who was ex Brightian remained present to motivate the students. Ms Shairvi Bhayani the Managing Trustee blessed the leaders.
Mehdi Compeition - 04.07.2023
More than 38 girl students participated. The winners were:
(1) Princy J Patel- ( Std X)- 1st rank
(2) Trisha D Patel – (Std X)- 2nd rank
(3) Krishnay H Patel- (Std X)- 3rd rank
While Vrunda G Heda (Std IX) and Charmi Soni( Std-IX) were given the consolation rank.The judges were Ms Hetal Pandya and Ms Priti Jani.
Election - 29.06.2023
A mock election for Chief Minister was conducted by students of class 9th to explain the Universal Adult Suffrage. They created a voting booth, their own parties, etc. They were given the demonstration how the election takes place in reality. The Social Science Teacher Ms Meera Shah Planned the class enthusiastically.
