Heartiest congratulations to Shannen School, CBSE, who emerged as the City Round Champions and will now proudly represent Vadodara at the INTACH State Round!
Adding another meaningful dimension to the celebration was the screening of “Lok – Wild Sacred Elephant Project – Gaja”, beautifully weaving together the themes of wildlife, conservation, culture, and our shared responsibility towards nature. We extend our sincere gratitude to Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Amita Pandya, Guest of Honour Mr. Sanjeev Joshi, Convenor, INTACH Vadodara, and Quiz Master Ms. Tarisha Mehta for enriching the occasion with their presence and inspiring our young heritage custodians. A celebration where knowledge met curiosity, heritage met young minds, and learning became an experience to remember!
Joy of Giving
The Joy of Giving Week was celebrated by students of Classes 1 to 8, where they embraced the spirit of kindness by generously donating toys, books, and stationery. The collected items will be donated to underprivileged children through the NGO 'Sneh Foundation'. Through this initiative, students learned that true happiness lies in sharing and caring.
Layer of Soil
Our Grade 3 students explored the fascinating layers of soil through an engaging hands-on activity. By creating and arranging different soil layers, they discovered the composition, importance, and unique characteristics of each layer. This experiential learning activity helped them understand the significance of soil in supporting plant life and maintaining a healthy environment. A meaningful learning experience that brought science to life—one layer at a time!
Plants Around Us
Learning came alive for our Grade 1 students through an engaging display on "Plants Around Us." The activity introduced children to the different parts of a plant, their functions, and a variety of plant products through interactive exhibits and hands-on explanations. Students explored, observed, and connected with nature in a fun and meaningful way, making learning both enjoyable and memorable. A wonderful step towards nurturing young minds to appreciate the beauty and importance of the green world around us!
Independence Day Celebration
Our Grades 1 to 5 celebrated Independence Day with vibrant patriotic dances, soulful songs, inspiring presentations, and meaningful classroom activities that filled every heart with love for the nation. Grade 1 explored our National Symbols and proudly created colourful tricolour wristbands. Grade 2 came dressed as freedom fighters, spoke about their inspiring contributions, and made beautiful tricolour headgear. Grade 3 showcased the Gifts of India, highlighting treasures like the Taj Mahal, River Ganga, and our rich heritage, and also watched a video to understand the significance of Flag Hoisting. Grade 4 gained an understanding of the dedication of our Army, Navy, and Air Force and reinforced their learning through an engaging quiz. Grade 5 explored India's Freedom Struggle, sharing important movements that shaped the nation's journey to independence, and reflected on how they can become responsible citizens of tomorrow.
A celebration that beautifully blended learning, patriotism, and pride, inspiring our young learners to cherish the values of freedom and responsibility.
