School Opening Day
“Today is the first page of a new book. Make it a good story!”
The new academic year started on 9th June for Std. II to VIII and 10th June for Std. I with beginning of new chapter in life. The Children started their school with sparkling imagination, fertile minds and a willingness to rise high with what they think. They were welcome by Principal Ma’am Ms. Rita Kantharia, Supervisors, Class Teacher and Non-teaching staff. A special assembly was conducted by the teachers in order to welcome the children after long summer vacation. The students were informed with general rules of school as “knowledge is a power and school is where you start to gain your superpower.” Superheroes were welcomed. They were motivated with a speech for happy prosperous and successful year ahead.
Science Olympiad organised - OGO
Jalaj C. Patel of Std. – III-A was the school topper in Science Olympiad organised by OGO. He was awarded a certificate and Cash Prize of Rs.2100.00. The award ceremony was held on 10th May, 2025 at Research and Innovation Park, IIT New Delhi.
Junior Karate Championship - 2025
Devangee U. Rana of Std. VII-B got Silver Medal in Team Kata Gujarat State Sub Junior/CADET/Junior Karate Championship-2025 at Anand, Gujarat, Organized by Karate Do Federation Gujarat. She also got trophy for Outstanding Performance in Karate Black Belt (DAN-4) Exam by Shotokan International Karate Do Federation India, (2025).
Drawing Competition
Keyan Rana of Std. VI-A participated in the Drawing Competition organized by Sandesh on 6th July 2025. He secured the 1st position. He was awarded cash Prize of Rs 3000 and a Gift Hamper worth Rs 2000.
Yoga Day Celebrations
"Yoga for One Earth, OneHealth."
Shri J R Shah Bright School Celebrated the International Yoga Day on 21st June, 2025,Saturday with great enthusiasm. The morning assembly inculcated the importance of physical fitness and mental alertness among students. The importance of Yoga is promoting physical, mental and spiritual well-being. Various Yoga postures and asanas including pranayama and meditation were performed. The celebration included Zumba dance adding energy to the celebration. Teachers and children actively participated in the celebration.
Guru Purnima Celebration
Shri J R Shah Bright School joyfully celebrated Guru Purnima on 10th July 2025 with deep devotion and enthusiasm. The event was organised to honor and express gratitude to all Gurus. Our guiding lights and to pay special tribute to our Sir Shri Jayendrabhai Shah, whose legacy continues to inspire the school community. The programme began with a soulful prayer and respectful tone for the day. A powerful Sanskrit speech and poem were delivered by the students highlighting the spiritual and cultural importance of Guru Purnima. A graceful dance performance dedicated to our Guru Sir Shri Jayendrabhai Shah remembering his values and contributions was performed. The students actively participated in making the day special for their teachers, presenting heartfelt messages and performances that reflected love, respect and admiration.
Students Union Election
Bright School believes in providing a platform to develop leadership qualities amongst our students, encourage them to be more responsible, make the right choice in life, do their best and treat everyone with respect. Bright School VIP GSEB UNIT students were elected for the position of School Captain, Head Boy and Head Girl on the basis of discipline, academics and conduct so that they can be role model to their fellow friends.
Under the guidance of our Principal Madam approximately 1143 students from Std. : V to VIII voted in a fair and orderly manner.

Founder’s Day is a significant occasion for Bright Group of Schools providing an opportunity to honor the School’s Founder Sir Shri Jayendrabhai Shah celebrated on 3rd July, Wednesday. Sir as a pioneer is an inspiration to the students. The school remains committed to its founder’s vision of providing quality education and fostering an environment for students to thrive.

Investiture Ceremony - 15.07.2025, Tuesday
Shri J R Shah Bright School held its prestigious Investiture Ceremony with great enthusiasm. The event marked the official beginning of the new student leadership body for the academic year 2025-2026. It was a proud moment where young students were formally entrusted with leadership roles and responsibilities. The programme commenced with prayer followed by a welcome speech. The highlight of the ceremony was the pining of badges and the oath taking ceremony, where the newly elected School Captain, Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Leader, Science Leader and Class Representative took the oath. The young leaders were inspired and ready to carry out their duties with commitment.
Bagless Day
Bagless day was celebrated on 12th July 2025, Saturday with immense enthusiasm at Shri J R Shah Bright School, turning a regular school day with creativity, joy and enjoyment. The day aimed to provide a break from traditional academic routines, encouraging students to explore learning beyond text books. The students played different outdoor games like , langdi, kho kho , musical chairs etc were organised and enjoyed by the students. Classroom transformed into vibrant spaces of activity, with students participated in Drawing Competition, played Antakshari, Dumb Charade, Story Telling, etc kept the young learners engaged and excited throughout the day.
